| Ok guys I have had some Z1 RFL's sitting in my closet since 2 Z's ago. I am about to have the opportunity to install them when I get my dual intake to compliment my new setup of GT675s, MS Manifolds, and full 3" exhaust here in a couple weeks. Octavian was telling me to just stick with stock recircs, and I have no problem doing that, but I am expecting to be running a mixture of 93 octane and racegas going 18-20PSI on weekends only so I am expecting some decent numbers to the wheels when I get it on a dyno and I heard or read that for over 500 hp you should go with BOV's rather than recircs... and this car already dynoed 478 @ 19 PSI on the old setup.
That being said I have heard some things about the Z1 style BOV's and their sound quality. Now this is not an opportunity to bash Z1 becuase I have never had any problems with them and used them many times for parts and always been satisfied. And obviuosly if I was just craving the BOV sound they would have been on one of my cars by now rather than still in the original packaging.
So what do yall think I should do? Put them on? Leave the recircs? Anyone running the Z1 style RFL's and care to comment on sound quality?
